New accessibility courses at UAB

Two new online courses

dealing with accessibility

will be starting soon

at Universitat Autònoma de Bacerlona.

Registrations are now

open for both courses.

 

The first course

will be starting

in September 2021. 

It is called

Accessibility Management and Promotion:

Accessible Services,

Information and Communication.

The second course

will be starting

in January 2022.

It is called

Accessible Digital Communication:

Easy-to-Understand Language.

You can find more information here.

 

EASIT materials will be used in the courses.

have registered to attend 

the second virtual event

of the EASIT project.

It has been held online

Anna Matamala presented EASIT

as part of the CTIS Research Seminars

on November 19.

 

The seminar was organised

by the School of Arts,

Languages and Cultures

of the Univerity of Manchester.

The title of the seminar was

"Media Accessibility: New environments,

New Hybrid Audiovisual Modalities".

Anna Matamala explained

the work done so far

towards the production of new

"hybrid" transfer modes,

such as "easy subtitles", 

as a result of merging 

the concepts of easy language

and audiovisual translation.
